ACHIEVEMENTS
Tru Minute and Jess Elrod, her trainer, received the honor of honors by being chosen to present the Colors for the National Anthem at the 2005 Texas Stampede Rodeo, to benefit Children's Medical Center. Tru and Jess presented Old Glory for the Friday and Saturday performances. The U.S. Army Equestrian Drill Team from Fort ? presented Old Glory for the Sunday performance, so Tru and Jess presented the Army's colors.
In addition to continuing to be exhibited in Reining, Tru is now in training for and has begun being
shown in Heading, Heeling and Steer Stopping, all under the guidance of Trainer Jess Elrod of Krum, Texas.
